Good to know

Our policies.

How pausing, skipping and renewals work, and how we handle your personal data.

Pausing and skipping

  • Days you have already paid for are not credited or added back when you pause. Weeks spent paused are not charged: when you resume, your next renewal is for the first week we can still cook.
  • A skipped day is not credited or refunded — it is a day you choose not to receive.
  • You can restore a skipped day until its cut-off. If you try to restore a paid meal and we can no longer deliver it because we stopped delivering to your building or the kitchen stopped running that service, we refund that meal to your card instead.

Renewals

  • Subscriptions renew automatically on your saved card. Each renewal is charged two days before the cut-off for the week it pays for, so the kitchen knows your order before it buys ingredients. Your account shows the date of your next charge.
  • If a renewal payment does not go through, meals you have already paid for still arrive, and your next period waits for the payment. We do not retry it automatically: complete it under Payments & invoices, with your saved card or a new one, and your deliveries continue once it is paid.
  • If a meal you paid for cannot be cooked — the kitchen is full that day, or a payment cleared after that week's cut-off — we refund that meal to your card automatically.
